Hot on his heels for the top prizes were three players on 66 and Mike Tierney won a cpo from Didsbury legend Mike Campbell to win the President’s Prize and get his name in gold on the honours board.
Also on 66 was junior Toby Redman who was given a special junior prize.
The best gross came from another Didsbury stalwart Dave Young with 72.
Also in the main competition Sean Clarke won a cpo on 68 from Pat Donnelly and the prizes were completed by Andy Pope winning a cpo on 69 from James Grimshaw.
Steve Wilkinson won the Nearest the Pin prize on 18 and Andy Kelly won the Nearest the Line prize and the putting competition was shared by Jamie McGrath and Bruno Ewings.
Fred gave deserving thanks to all who made this a smooth-running, competitive and enjoyable day both on and off the course and presented club manager Caroline with a bouquet of flowers to complete the presentations.
